The Sleep Center Superstores are all local area drop-off locations for the annual blanket drive that is very much needed for our youth and homeless and others in need of warm layer against with cold hard world. We have been committed to this cause for many years now and we feel it is very worthy and important community care. we appreciate any help at all. Just sharing this blanket drive with someone is helpful.
Sherry Kitchens sent a heartfelt "Thank You" to the staff at The Sleep Center in Gainesville, FL for the donation of mattresses to their child's center, and for caring for the community with them. We are honored by such kind words from truly caring community leaders, Child Advocacy Center. We encourage other area businesses to help Sherry and her team succeed in their goals.
Such a great group of caring individuals looking after the children in need. We could not pass up the opportunity to provide financial assistance to fulfill Christmas for 40 area children. Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. On that date, America watched in horror as approximately 3,000 people died including hundreds of firefighters and rescue workers. Many warriors note a sense of duty to volunteer for the military following these tragic events.
The Gainesville Fisher House Foundation is the result of the effort of the Veterans Services Committee of the Rotary Club of Gainesville and its members. This committee was formed to honor those who have served and are serving the citizens of Alachua County in our United States Armed Forces. Seeing a great need in our greater community for a Fisher House facility the group formed the foundation.
The Arc of Alachua County is a community based organization committed to providing a continuum of exemplary services, supports, and advocacy to assure that people with developmental disabilities can enjoy respect and dignity and be full participants in the community.
Bucholz High School Athletic Program is a positive influence on our community's youth and one we proudly support.
